Invite Clics teammates and manage admin or member roles

Invite members and assign roles

Invite teammates to your Clics workspace, assign admin or member roles, and manage access with WorkOS-powered team settings.

Invite people to your workspace so they can view analytics and collaborate on projects. Access is workspace-wide: members see all projects in the workspace. There is no per-project guest role.

Team management uses WorkOS. Invited users sign in with the same AuthKit flow as everyone else.

Invite a member

  1. Open Settings → Team, or click Invite in the header
  2. Invite by email address (any email; it does not need to match your company domain)
  3. Assign a role: admin or member
  4. Send the invitation

The person receives an email. They register or sign in with that email and accept the invite. Invites are handled by WorkOS (default expiry is typically about 7 days unless customized in your WorkOS dashboard).

You can invite people who already have a Clics account or people who need to create one.

Roles

Clics has two workspace roles:

Role Can do
Admin Everything a member can do, plus rename/delete the workspace, manage notification emails, update and delete projects, create and delete API keys (during an active trial or on a paid plan), and manage team membership via Team settings
Member View all projects and analytics in the workspace, create projects, and create or edit goals and funnels. Cannot change project settings, delete projects, manage API keys, or delete the workspace

The workspace creator is an admin.

Change a role

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Find the member
  3. Change their role between admin and member

You need permission to manage the team (typically as an admin).

Remove a member

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Remove the member from the workspace

They lose access to that workspace’s dashboards and settings. Their own account remains; they may still belong to other workspaces.

Create another workspace

From the workspace switcher, choose Create Workspace. New workspaces have their own team, billing, and projects. Useful when you want separate clients or brands under one login. See Agencies and freelancers.
